Curation Over Complexity
I created Color Supply because most color picking tools overwhelm users with too many choices. While precision is useful for fine-tuning, it often gets in the way when you are starting a project from scratch.
Instead of making users pick every single color manually, this tool provides starting points that can be refined as they go. This turns the "math" of color theory into a faster, more confident workflow.

Visualizing Complex Rules
The interface turns abstract color rules into something you can play with. By interacting with the wheel, users see how different schemes like complementary or triadic work in real time.
It replaces manual calculation with instant visual feedback, making it easier to experiment.
Finding an Audience
I built Color Supply to solve a real problem for myself, and it ended up finding a massive audience of designers, artists, and developers worldwide. That kind of reach has taught me that people really value clarity over complicated features.
Praise for Color Supply:

Result
Color Supply has proven to be a strong financial success, including an exclusive deal with a Japanese firm that licensed the codebase for their market. The live site is now mid-redesign, so it looks different from what’s shown here.
